Kingston & St. Andrew Corporation

Last year, we partnered with the business community to stage the first ever Gospel on the Waterfront Concert. This year is promising to be bigger and better. Gospel on the waterfront 2014 will be held on Thursday April 17, 2014 under the theme “Reclaiming Kingston for Christ,” The line-up for the concert includes, Kevin Downswell, Evangelist Sandra Brooks, Jermaine Edwards, Omari, Lubert Levy, Sister Scully, and a host of other artistes. We continue to encourage sponsors to come on board and ask Kingston and St. Andrew and all other individuals to come and enjoy a moment of praise with us.

Today, we pause to take stock of our second year in office. Truly, we have to appreciate the citizens, residents and businesspersons in the municipality. We have to bear in mind at all times that we serve at their pleasure. We work for them and on their behalf and we remain grateful and humbled by the confidence they place in us and their critical support over the past years.

On behalf of the people of the Municipality, I would also like to thank the Councillors and staff, led last year by Mr. Errol Greene, with a short but important stint by Ms. Andrine McLaren, for the outstanding job they have done in the past year. We commend those of you who have gone the extra mile to ensure that we honor our obligations to the people of this municipality.
